Susanna Klimek– Director of Children’s Ministries & Assistant Director of Worship

Susanna is part of the 4th generation of her family to call Nardin Park their church home, following her great-grandfather’s role as lead pastor. She knows first-hand the beauty of growing up within a faith family and how awesome it is to be loved within the church through each of life’s journeys.

Susanna taught high school English outside of Washington D.C. before choosing to stay at home with her two boys for close to a decade. She joined the staff in April of 2019 and is thrilled to be able to use her creativity, love of words, always growing faith, and passion for learning about others’ stories to share God’s love with this church family and with our local community. Driven by a desire to encourage all people, no matter their age, to be consistently seeking authentic connection with others, it is a true honor for her to serve in these two roles within Nardin Park. She is proud to be an ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and believes wholeheartedly that whoever you are, you are a beloved child of God.

In her spare time, Susanna enjoys making memories with her two boys, Sam and Eli, walking her dog, Piper, writing, having dance parties in her kitchen, and laughing with her extended family around the dinner table.
